Brake Pad Warning Indicator

Sometimes, your vehicle's brakes will alert you when there is trouble. Squealing noises, chirping sounds, and grinding are indications that brake repair is required.

How Does The Brake System Work?

The brake system is an intricate collection of parts that work together to slow down or stop your vehicle. Most models come with a disc brake system, which is similar to the brakes found on a ten-speed bike. When you apply pressure to the brake pedal, the brake fluid is squished together, triggering the calipers. The calipers are lined with a brake pad and squeeze tightly onto the rotors on your tire. This friction slows and eventually stops your tires from rotating.
